The Canadian Celebration of Women in Computing is an annual two day learning, sharing, mentoring and networking event. This year it was held in Montreal, Quebec.
Google asked us to create some some coloring canvases for the tech, students, faculty, and industry professionals to colour at their stand.
Chris illustrated a technology triptych, with coding that creates polygon meshes floating in imaginary hyperspace around the computers. Everyone had a great time contributing to the coloring murals at the event.

The coloring canvases were a HUGE hit! We had over 400 female Computer Science students who came by our Google booth, and instead of passing by, they stayed to color! It allowed many students who were otherwise introverted and shy to bridge more easily into a conversation with us by beginning to color first! It was a perfect activity that everyone just loved!
