Facebook asked us to create a large cafe wall mural in their data center in Georgia.
Facebook had decorated their building with art based on different movies and TV shows that were shot in Georgia. They asked us to take inspiration from the movie 'Fried Green Tomatoes' for the cafe wall mural.
In the movie an elderly woman recalls the events of her sister-in-law who owned the ‘Whistle Stop Cafe’ in the 1920s. We illustrated vintage cookware, pots, pans and utensils that could have been used in a 1920s cafe, along with antique signage, bottles, tins and jars.

The mural also includes lots of produce grown in Georgia including spring onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, corn, oranges, apples and pears.
The art looked great installed across the cafe wall, it was loads of fun making a mural on such a large scale, it measured 18 feet wide by 12 feet tall!
