Custom wall mural celebrates community farm

Our custom wall mural commission celebrates the community farm at The Fold in Worcester, hand painted to the side of the farm’s vegetable storage unit to transform the area into a into a bright colourful space that’s fun to spend time in.

The Fold is a visitor attraction that’s focussed on sustainability, tucked away on a centuries old farm in the valley of the River Teme, so rural and idyllic you would never guess it’s just outside Worcester city. It’s also a place we at Fancy Features call home, after running our art studio here for the last 11 years!

People who join The Fold community farm receive a weekly veg box and also have access to special member events like seasonal tours, communal meals, and volunteer farm days to connect with the land and get involved with growing food.

Our colourful design shows the farm’s vegetables, flowers, and fruit growing by the light of the celestial sun at the centre of the image. The mural sits next to the community farm vegetable box pick up spot, so it works well as a giant way finder as well as a snazzy bit of wall art!

We painted the mural during a few weeks of autumn sunshine, getting lots of positive comments from the public, if you stopped by thank you we’re so grateful for your support, if not then pop on down soon!
