Bournville Village Trust asked Fancy Features for a giant colouring canvas for the Bournville Festival, at the Cadbury Recreation Grounds.
The canvas was based on Bournville village, created by George Cadbury in 1895 and now managed by Bournville Village Trust, the area is famed for its unique buildings, shop and open spaces.
Everyone at the festival took a time out from their picnics to give the canvas a boost by colouring it in, from the curly wurly hills in the background to the roses in the foreground, the chocolate puns didn't improve.
The trust wanted to show their heritage with illustrations of some key buildings, whilst looking to the future towards their latest project, a care village with a housing scheme for people with learning difficulties.
The finished canvas is displayed in this new development in Shenley Court Hall, Bournville Village Trust commissioned it as a gift for the residents who live there.
