Workfront, a company that makes cloud based project management software, asked us to create a colouring wall for their stand at Marketing Week Live 2016 using the same illustration that we created for their Take a Break event at London's Spitalfields Market.
At 5 metres wide and over 2 metres tall this massive mural is one of the biggest colouring walls we've ever made. We started by custom making some huge modular artists panels, here's a shot of them in construction:
After the custom artists boards were made, sized and primed we projected the illustration onto them in our studio, transferring the image with pencil before fully hand painting them to create a colouring mural of the high quality that's our standard at Fancy Features.
We went Olympia, London, to install the modular colouring wall ready for Marketing Week Live. Here's Chris from Fancy Features installing the artwork, for a sense of scale Chris is 6'4" and stood on a platform!
Here's the colouring wall ready for the exhibition with a matching custom made colouring desk:
Workfront really embraced the interactive colouring exhibition stand theme, creating a super cool colouring book with a set of branded colouring pencils for people to take away with them. The cover has an illustration by one of Workfront's designers, inside the book our mindfulness colouring picture is across the centrefold and the mandala from it is printed separately with Workfront's logo in its centre.
